Arizona is a community property state. Can I get a home loan without my husband’s credit/income being involved? I have an excellent credit score and very good income, so I don’t need to rely on his income. Also, his credit is pretty bad and I don’t want that to have a negative effect on mine.

Yes, however even if his name is not on the loan because the state is community property it will half belong to him. If you want to keep him out of it entirely you must use seperate money (not money that belongs to both of you) for the down payment. Then the only thing that will happen if you seperate or get divorce is to pay back the community (your husband) for improvments or half the equity.
