My husband had about $10,000 worth of debt in collections. We paid about $6,000 off so far. Some of collectors were willing to “pay for deletion” and some would just do “paid in full” or “settled in full”. Will this help his credit situation when it comes time to apply for a home loan? How much time before he can try to apply for a home loan? My Fico score is 719, but we still need his income to qualify for the loan amount we want.

Im on disability insurance and i need a loan realy bad. i have bad credit. can i get a loan?

I have tryed many places already and no luck. i know this is a pretty stupid question, but can u refinace ur car and get extra cash like u would with a home refinance. or i know u can put up a car as qolateral, but im still making payments. does the car have to be paid off to do one of those pawn auto things. anyone have any ideas to get some cash? im moving in a month and need money to move.thanks

Bad Credit Persoal Loan?

My husband and I have lingering credit issues. He has a credit score in the 580’s, me in the 530’s. We own a home and would like to get a loan to pay off all debt. I am going to print off our credit report and go into the bank and see if they will write the checks directly to the companies so they know where the money is going. I also work directly for the wealthiest man in the city where I live and he happens to bank where I do. I was planning on using him as a reference. But I have overdrafted with that bank……Any advice would be great. Thanks.

A friend of mine married a guy with bad credit and is now wondering what to do to go about establishing GOOD credit with this guy. She wants to buy a house in the near future but is afraid she will not be able to with his low credit score. Her credit score is excellent . I made a mortgage loan payment after the due date which the bank charged me a $50.00 late fee. That is cool. I expected it. They claimed I skipped a payment because I went past 30 days between payments. They wanted a double payment at which I couldn’t swing. The late fee rose up to $150.00 a month and now is up to $254.00 a month. My payment is $500.00 a month. I paid them $1000.00 in July to bring my payment up to date and to meet my monthly mortgage payment requirement for July. However, I did not pay the late fee in full. Many banks will tack on the fees to the end of the balance. My bank is not and is charging me $254.00 late fee on top of a late fee. Is this legal? Are there limits to what they can charge? One late fee has grown to $550.00 for the month which is more than my regular mortgage loan payment. This makes it impossible to catch up. I tried to work with my bank, but the right hand does not know what the left is doing. Any suggestions? This is maddening! Help!
