Am applying for a mortgage loan and have two school loans already on my credit report but specify one is not in repayment and second is deferred. However, the loan application is requesting all expenses listed on my credit report. Are these loans not in repayment included in my expense ratio?

I owe about 10,000 on medical bills and about 5,000 on other unsecured items. I earn about 40,000.00 before taxes. Is there a company who can and will give me a debt consolidation loan with bad credit and no homeownership? I am trying to help myself.

I have recently become a mortgage loan officer in the DFW area. There is not a lot of experience in my office. Any advice where I can get assistance to survive this market? I would be happy to learn how to close at least one loan per month then build from there. Thanks for your assistance.

My boyfriend and I have discussed marriage but one of my biggest concerns is his credit. He is working towards improving it, but I know this will take years. I have excellent credit. If we get married and do NOT have any joint accounts, seperate car loans, home in my name, seperate credit cards, etc, will his credit score have any effect on mine? Also if he continues to damage his credit after getting married, will that effect my credit score?

Bad Credit?

Years ago I got married at 17 and my credit went downhill from there. Bad car loans (2), medical bills (3), credit card bills (2), one eviction and a cell phone bill…. all unpaid some older than 8 years now. I would say a little less than 30,000 in unpaid debt! I am now divorced he is filing for bankruptcy and I do not want to do that because I never want to mark “have you ever filed bankruptcy” on any box.
I am now a full time student, with a part time job and live at home with my mommy again ( never fun to do!!) I want to start paying on some of these bills even if I am just sending in 100 or 200$ a month to them….
What is the best way to go about it?
What bills should I focus on paying first?
Should I not pay some of the older ones?

my credit is bad and a loan would really help. i would like to pay off somethings and consolidate the rest, what can i do? Why can’t the equity in my home speak for itself, i’ve never refinanced?

i bought a big home and now i have built up some equity, i tried to get some home improvement loans and my credit score took a bad hit. I currently am stretched out too far and would like to get a cheaper home so i can breathe. If i sell my home can i buy a cheaper one. What are the chances a bank would agree.

My credit isn’t bad or fair. It’s good, just below excellent. How good does your credit have to be and what other factors are key to successfully obtaining a home mortgage loan?
